MINORITY BAR FOUNDATION
The Minority Bar Foundation was formed in 2004 to advance diversity in the legal profession in Western New York and throughout New York State.
The Case For Diversity
We believe that diversity and inclusion make the legal profession stronger. As our society becomes more connected in this technological revolution, so does the need for diverse individuals to help diverse clients find creative legal solutions.
Our Mission
To provide each individual equal opportunity to succeed based on merit and performance and without regard to things like race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.
What We Believe
Now, more than ever, society requires broader diversity in the legal profession. The Minority Bar Foundation seeks to advance diversity in the legal profession by empowering diverse individuals to achieve their goal of becoming a lawyer. From elementary school students all the way to law school graduates, the Minority Bar Foundation provides programs, academic support, scholarships, and mentors to expose under represented populations to the legal professional and assist them in their journey to becoming successful advocates.
